Visa Canada survey reveals that Canadians plan on spending an average of $805 on their teenager’s prom, compared to American households with teens, who plan to spend an average of $1,086. To help combat the high cost of prom, Visa launched a free smartphone app that helps teens and parents budget for every prom-related expense.

Many teenagers are looking for ways to cut down on expenses and keep within budget to get to the ball . Some teenagers are cutting back on services, doing  their own make-up, and hair. Nothing like making a teenager happy by giving her a deal, this will also make her feel special when she sees the final results.  We need to keep in account that it’s the parents who are footing the bill for these young beauties, if anything the parents will, have the final say.
