Hosting spray tan parties are a fun way to get together with your BFF’s and promote your services!

Use your social network of friends, they are one of your best resources.  Ask a friend if she would like to host a spray tan party for you. Tell her you just got in the business and need all the help you could get to get the word out. In return, she receives her tan “Free”.

Make It a Theme Night

Put salsa music on to get everyone in a party mood. You can set up beach chairs, serve  mock pina coladas with little umbrellas, buy flip flops at the dollar store so the guests can leave with them. Take 15 minutes  to introduce yourself and talk about your services, at the begging of your intro, don’t forget to thank the host for hosting the party and ask your guests if they want to host a party. Follow with a a brief overview on how spray tanning works, the products you use and the many benefits it has. Take the time to educate your clients on the benefits of spray tanning versus tanning beds. See blog related.

Have Freebies to Give Away

Before the party starts make sure you hand your cards and tell people for hosting a party, they receive a “Free” spray tan. You can also give little samples of a coffee body scrubs you make.

Keep It Small and Bring Enough Supplies

Keep the party to a maximum of 8-10 people. Make sure you bring clean towels, sticky feet, hair caps and lip balm., and nail barrier cream. And a few different solutions to customize each client.

Leave the Hostess with Information

Give the hostess a pamphlet or invitation cards which includes the before and after spray tanning rules so she can hand them out.

Another great idea to promote your business and  services, get lip balms with your logo and phone number printed. Some are available with a key chain.
