To get a great tan without the risks of UV rays damaging your skin, most people opt for a great spray tan. Spray tanning is convenient, inexpensive and you really don’t have to leave your home to get the glow you want. Great tanning solutions and tanning technicians usually result in wonderful tans, however sometimes the tan develops too deep or you realize you’ve missed a spot during the process. Instead of swearing off spray tans and committing yourself to a life of paleness after a bad tan, follow a few simple tricks that can save you from any tanning disaster.

Six Ways To a Successful Flawless Tan

  1. It’s always best to calibrate your gun on a low setting, this will allow the formula to hit the skin without drip marks, It also allows the client to dry quicker.
  2. Always work with a  round velvet blotter or puff. You can gently pat the over sprayed solution until even.
  3. Always remember to spray hands and feet only once, to avoid pooling on dry skin.
  4. Inside of forearm should be sprayed only once.
  5. Ask client to apply a thin coat of lip protection
  6. The first rinse should be just with water after 6 to hours. Rub coconut oil all over the body while the water is still running. Rinse without scrubbing and pat dry. The skin will look radiant and smooth.

Six Ways To Erase a Bad Spray Tan

  1. Use tanning towels to fill in spots that were missed by the tanning spray.
  2. Exfoliate dark spots to remove excess tanner from the area
  3. Rub lemon wedges on areas where you want to remove the tanner
  4. I suggest applying a tan remover solution to dark spots
  5. Scrub dark areas with a dandruff shampoo
  6. Apply Witch Hazel to knees of other joints that are too dark
